~Keiona Cook~

" The arts are not just a nice thing to have or to do if there is free time or if one can afford it. Rather, paintings and poetry, music and fashion, design and dialogue, they all define who we are as a people and provide an account of our history for the next generation."
~Michelle Obama~

OUR MISSION:
At Lovely’s Sewing & Arts Collective, we use sewing as a hands-on tool to teach critical reasoning, problem-solving, and independent thinking. We believe every youth, teen, and adult is the master tailor of their own life. Through our programs, participants learn how to work through challenges, make decisions, and take ownership of their path—developing the confidence and skills to shape their future. Our work builds confidence, resilience, and real-world decision-making skills, empowering individuals —one stitch at a time.
We align every stitch with Common Core Math/ELA, NGSS Science, and Social-Emotional Intelligence
OUR GOALS:
At Lovely’s Sewing & Arts Collective, our goals are to:

-
Create an interactive learning environment where participants use design thinking and systems thinking to plan, test, and complete real-world projects
